NLP MASTER PRACITIONER (3) COURSE: MASTER HYPNOSIS SAMPLE NOTES Hypnotic Patterns Direct or authoritarian induction From George Estabrook The authoritarian approach to hypnosis. This style of hypnotic induction is also known as a rapid induction. Typically it induces a deep level of trance. It is often used in stage presentations of hypnosis. The characteristic of this style of trance induction is it gives the illusion that the practitioner has quite magical powers over the subject. This is not at all true, the client just hands across conscious control to the practitioner. As in all forms of hypnosis the conscious mind is by-passed so the instructions are processed directly by the unconscious mind. Characteristics of authoritarian trance induction.
Individuals that take orders well are susceptible to this style of induction. Individuals that mismatch (polarity response) or highly internal dialogue, may perform less well with this type of technique. All training is held in Sydney, unless otherwise specified.
